Dave Grohl is such an overrated guitarist. I love how when one of their two(!) other guitarists was soloing the camera went to Grohl as if it were him playing. Arcade Fire was a much better back-up band for Mick. The Mick/Beck number was kinda meh for me, but I'm pretty meh on Jeff Beck.

Doesn't have a dog in the fight? I guess the U.S. President has no impact outside our borders? And the breakdown of the eurozone has no impact on me...

OK, indirect effect. Mick can't vote and his opinions of Obama and Romney mean little to me. Plus, the tune just wasn't that entertaining beyond Beck's guitar work.

I do concur - the song wasn't that good. And they didn't let Jeff's bassist go off because she slays.

That said, more spotlight on Arcade Fire is always good. They are a GREAT live band.

I was the 1 in 300 that came for the show.

Support the library - it might get shut down. Was there on Friday night just sitting 'round the campfire, passing around the bottle, and singing songs with Magnus and friends. Magic spot.

We're all missing the most important thing about SNL this week, which is that it was Kristen Wiig's last show. She was probably the funniest member of the current cast and will be missed.

I rarely almost never watch snl but i agree she is funny. Im sure she'll continue to make some funny movies. For my Andy Sambergs songs are the funniest thing on snl

The guitarist on the far right is Pat Smear, who incidentally played with Nirvana on SNL almost 20 years ago. It was his first gig with the band.
